The City Tree Committee serves in an advisory capacity to the Parks
and Community Services Commission, City Council and staff regarding
street trees to be removed or planted, standards for landscape enhancement
and tree preservation policy. Its nine members are appointed by
the City Council to serve four year terms. The committee holds regular
meetings on the first Wednesday of the month at 4:00 p.m., at the
Claude Meitzenheimer Community Center.
