The Tulare Redevelopment Agency will be providing assistance for the
following Affordable Housing Developments:
TuleVista
TuleVista is being developed through a partnership with the Tulare County Housing Authority and Pacific West Communities. The project is located south of Sonora Avenue between "D" and "E" Streets in Tulare. The development team recently finalized approximately $17,000,000 of financing, and anticipates being under construction by January 1, 2011. The development will include 57 single-family units, which will be rented to low-income households at affordable rents. The homes will contain an environmentally friendly component, as they will be designed and built using energy efficiency and sustainable building products, and will be certified through the Build It Green GreenPoint Rated program. It is projected that units will be completed in approximately November 2011, and more information about the lease-up of the units will be posted as it becomes available.

Construction on Phase II started in August of 2010. The total project includes 81 affordable rental units in Phase I (completed and operating), and 72 affordable rental units in Phase II. The project is located on West Street, just south of Cross Avenue.
