Emergency Repair Program

Funds up to $5,000 are available for minor emergency repairs on a city-wide basis for single family owner-occupied properties within the City of Tulare. Repairs must be truly of an emergency nature endangering the health and welfare of the occupants. Reimbursement for prior repairs will not be made. Funds are available to very-low income persons regardless of race, color, religion, age, handicap, national origin or gender. The Emergency Repair Program follows the Federal and State Income Schedule. For information regarding income eligibility, please call 559-684-4233 or refer to the State CDBG's and HOME Table of 2009 Income Limits.
