Fire Safety Inspections for Businesses
Our commercial inspection program is comprised of visits to the businesses of our community by a Fire Inspector or an Engine Company. A survey of the business site for any building deficiencies or other hazards to life or property that may exist. The basis used for any corrective actins necessary is the California Fire Code (CFC). The primary purpose for our inspection program is to identify hazards to life and property. At the same time, by education the business community as to the causes of fire, future fires or other problems may be reduced or eliminated. The effectiveness of the program as whole is dependent on the inspectors to convince building owners, business owners and occupants of the need for corrections when necessary and the reasons for them.
