Chapter 10.40 PERMITTED AND CONDITIONAL USES IN COMMERICAL ZONES
Section 10.40.030 Definitions
A. Conditional Use Permit: A conditional use permit is a special
type of land use permit
required for those uses which may have the potential to impact the surrounding neighborhood.
Conditional use permits are granted by the Planning Commission at a public hearing.
B Design Review: Design review is a type of land use permit granted
by the Planning and
Building Director which ensures that a proposed development is in conformance with the
standards of the Zoning Ordinance and policies of the Tulare General Plan.

Administrative approvals may be granted for those minor planning requests that involve
accessory structures, classification of uses, and other
minor planning requests, that can be
approved by the Planning and Building Director.
