Section 4.04.010 Adoption of Building Code.
Adoption of Building Code: That certain document, in book form, in three
volumes with the
following appendices (volume 1) thereto: Chapter 3 - Use of Occupancy; Chapter 4 - Special
Use and Occupancy; Chapter 12, Division II - Sound Transmission Control; Chapter 15 -
Reroofing; Chapter 31 - Special Construction; Chapter 33 - Excavation and Grading, known as
the California Building Code, 2001 Edition, and incorporates, by adoption, the 1997 Edition of
the Uniform Building Code with necessary California Amendments, as prepared by the
International Conference of Building Officials and the California Building Standards
Commission, and published by the International Conference of Building Officials, is hereby
adopted as the Building Code of the City of Tulare, excepting Table 1-1 - Building Permit Fees -
which shall be set by resolution of the City Council of the City of Tulare.
Three (3) copies of
said code are on file in the Office of the City Clerk of the City.
